You will experience the whole variety of the smallest of the north-african states. The varied landscapes, ancient ruins and towns, where time appears to have stopped are in contract to Tunis and the modern tourist centres. 

You are due to return by ferry from Tunis i.e. to Palermo or Genua. Why not stay on a little and extend the summer.
