Participants of the FICC- Rally, which takes place in Berlin in summer 2018, have requested this unusual tour. It is mainly aimed at those who travel there from Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
Since 1993 the DCC and Perestroika Tours/Mir Tours have realized various tours to FICC Rally’s via Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Eastern European destinations.
This tour is a combination of two current Mir Tours trips: in the first part is set to explore the tsars’ city St. Petersburg with a large sightseeing and cultural programme. In the day you will see some of the more than 200 museums, whilst the evening is set aside for concert or ballet.
The old hanseatic town of Novgorod and the Golden Ring will show you some of the famous Russian Soul before reaching the capital Moscow. The Kremlin, the Red Square, the Gum department store, the Arbat quarter and the famous Metro are waiting to be explored.
On historic roads the tour continues westward to Borodino, Smolensk and Minsk. Belarus is known for its hospitable people. In Poland, the capital Warsaw and the smart-looking town of Posnan are visited and round off the programme. You will reach Berlin in time for the FICC Rally’s start.
Western European Camper and Caravanners may use the ferry from Travemünde to Helsinki. This tour will be accompanied by a multi-lingual tour leader (German/English) who will be supported b a local assistant in Russia/Belarus if required.
Furthermore the former touristic referent of the DCC Werner Dühnen, who has been in charge of four similar tours, will be along on this trip as an participant.
